UPPER ARLINGTON TRANSFORMATION

A large, white house with gray shutters, tall and narrow cypress trees in front, and colorful window boxes on the upper windows. There are steps leading up to the front door and a landscaped yard with bushes and plants. The sky is clear and blue, indicating good weather.
A photo taken from a porch with two large decorative planters filled with flowers, a surveying instrument on a tripod, and a street with trees and a parked gray SUV in the background, labeled 'BEFORE'.

The client rarely used their circular drive and felt the home's street presence never lived up to its potential. They engaged us to reimagine the space as a welcoming garden and outdoor gathering area that would bring balance and composition to the front of the house while better serving their family's daily life. The result is a landscape that is both more functional and more beautiful.

A detailed landscape architectural plan featuring trees, shrubs, lawns, pathways, and a residence with annotations.

Removing the front driveway opened the door for a bold garden statement, transforming the home's arrival experience and dramatically enhancing its presence on the street.

Let’s create something meaningful together.
