German Village Residence

Timeless and contemporary

Contempoary but timeless design. We collaborated with a local archtiect to create a new additon to the home, guest house and landscape in between. A proposed basalt fountan and stone walls with bold planting hold this outdoor space together. A custom hammock and outdoor kitchen add a built in feel and look to fit the clients taste perfectly. A variety of outdoor spaces are provided within a relatively small property...good things come in small packages!

Arlington Restoration

We were consulted by a client in Old Upper Arlington to restore their landscape to reflect the integrity of the architecture of the home while using historic materials. Here is a shot of the new front yard walls and landscape beds ready for planting...More to follow!

Upper Arlington Residence

EDIBLE EXCELLENCE

This beautiful home had a less than beautiful landscape to match. The overall masterplan orients the eye to the exterior of the home. We proposed new connections to the exterior of the home and attempted to pull and stretch the interior programming of the home outward. In the front a formal landscape was proposed with a central courtyard  sitting space and bold movements of plant material to create a sense of symmetry and permanence from the street.   In the rear we proposed an outdoor kitchen with an edible garden surrounding. The owner is a chef and she intends to use the rear yard as an outdoor test kitchen!

Bexley Residence

We were approached to think through a Bexley property and incorporate a new garden in conjunction with a major home renovation and addition. We helped envision a large outdoor entertainment area and surrounding gardens. The client wanted to keep clean minimalist lines through the space but allow for color and texture.

Medick Estate

A beautiful modern home is tucked back in the little known Medick Estate neighborhood...but it needed a vision. The client did not know where to start with the complex space, so they hired Outdoor Space Design to get resolve.  Through a system of walls and movements of plant texture and views we were able to come up with a sensible solution that pulled it all together.
